PANAREA EOLIAN ISLAND - SICILY - SOUTH ITALY
The island of Panarea is smallest of the Aeolian Islands, covers an area of 3.3 square kilometers and the highest promontory measure 421 m. sea level and carries the name of Punta Corvo, and offers tourists the hospitality of its centers Ditella, S. Peter and Drautto renowned for their summer holidays.
The whole territory can be considered unique for the variety of its configuration, steep and jagged, and the sequence of coves, pristine beaches and reefs, in addition to natural beauty seem transformed by the hour by various light and water, restful shadows, whispers and sighs of nymphs and mermaids. The part of the coast and North West has steep cliffs due to erosion, while on the coast of Southern and Eastern Europe, however, relatively high, is characterized by the presence of three shelves, which are located at various altitudes above sea level.
