TORRE SAN GIOVANNI (UGENTO)- APULIA - SOUTH ITALY
Torre San Giovanni is a bathing locality part of the town of Ugento. It has a small port, to the north of the coast has low cliffs of volcanic origin, to the south instead there are long beaches with white fine sand. In front of the coast there are some small islands, here the sea is crystalline and the sea depths mostly low. At the end, as often happens along the coasts Salentine, close to the sea there are bushes and trees and vegetation typical of the Mediterranean coast, the unmistakable aroma of maritime pine, thyme and wild rosemary.
