TARANTO - APULIA - SOUTH ITALY
Its city, its roads recall the old monuments to the Hellenic civilization which was here and which reappears in mute testimoniens through the archeological remains preserved in the National Museum of Taranto, the city of two seas and a revolving bridge, whose historical center harbours medieval palaces of notable architectural interest. In the country, particularly interesting historically and artistically are the towns of Martina Franca with its baroque palace and its stupendous balcony facing the fascinating Itria Valley.
